A photo caption in Tuesday's editions incorrectly said the Fraternal Order of Police has endorsed Oliver North for the U.S. Senate. In fact, the organization will not make an endorsement until August, state lodge president Garth L. Wheeler says. North had appeared at a news conference at a Fraternal Order of Police lodge in Richmond to receive the endorsement of a group of law enforcement officers.
