The Greenbrier County grand jury also indicted Tracy Michelle Lippard, 22, of Charlottesville, Va., on charges of bringing stolen property into the state, carrying a concealed weapon, malicious wounding, brandishing, and improper use of registration plates.
The charges stem from a February attack on the family of Melissa Weikle, 24. Weikle is carrying a child fathered by a man Lippard also dated.
Sheriff Perry McGuire said Lippard planned to kill Weikle and her parents, Rodney Weikle, 50, and Carlynn Weikle, 47.
Lippard was arrested at the Weikles' home Feb. 27, the day after she crowned her successor as Miss Williamsburg in Virginia.
According to McGuire, Lippard tried to hit Rodney Weikle on the head with a hammer, but the former Secret Service agent tackled her instead.
