Debbie Honaker said the last time she talked to her daughters, Amy, 17, and Jessica, 14, was Sunday afternoon around 2:30. They were staying with a friend, Joni Harmon, 17, in McCoy and were to get a ride to their mother's house in Christiansburg for Easter festivities, she said.
But Debbie Honaker has not seen or heard from the girls since.
Harmon's parents said their daughter, who is emancipated and no longer legally a juvenile, has run away several times before. She had recently had a disagreement with her father, Roger Harmon, and told him that she wanted to leave. He said some of his daughter's clothes and makeup were gone, and a neighbor said they saw the three girls walking with backpacks Sunday afternoon
Christiansburg Police said they are following up on leads regarding the girls, but have no reason to suspect foul play at this point.
