NATIONAL FOREST OFFICE GETS NEW LOCATION

The Jefferson National Forest Supervisor's Office is now located at 5162 Valleypointe Parkway, off Peters Creek Road in Roanoke.

An open house will be held at the office's new location on April 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Activities will include: live mountain music, flint knapping, displays, turkey-calling demonstrations, folklore tales, and an appearance by Smokey the Bear.
