ADVOCACY GROUP HONORS ROANOKE POLICE OFFICE

Roanoke Police Officer Roger S. Fuller recently received the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award from People Against Impaired Drivers.

Fuller, a nine year veteran of the department, was honored for his efforts in DUI prevention, education and enforcement.

Fuller averages 106 DUI arrests a year and has a 98 percent conviction rate in court. he is affiliated with the Blue Ridge Community Traffic Safety Board, the Safety Council of Southwest Virginia and the Roanoke AAA branch.
