MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO KILLING PARENTS, ARSON

A man who shot his parents to death and then torched their house in an attempt to hide the crimes has pleaded guilty to capital murder in a deal to avoid a death sentence.

Jeffrey Morrow, 22, also pleaded guilty Wednesday to arson. He was sentenced to two life terms and will become eligible for parole in about 30 years. - Associated Press
