TO OUR READERS

SINCE mid-February, Paxton Davis has been ill with congestive heart failure, spending four days in late February in Bath County Community Hospital and from March 4 through April 2 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

He is slowly recovering his health from the intense and extensive treatment, including quadruple bypass surgery, and will resume his column soon.
