10 GIRLS TO COMPETE IN JABBERWOCK

Ten Roanoke Valley high school girls will compete in the Jabberwock, the annual fund-raiser of the Roanoke Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Roanoke Civic Center auditorium.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the sorority's scholarship fund.

The show's theme is "Bold and Beautiful" and will include entertainment by the contestants and their escorts, Sabrina Hood Hall & Co., Deanna McGee Morgan, Afred Dowe Jr., and the Jabberwock Kids. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
