USE OF BST IN MILK DISCUSSED

A panel discussion on the use of bovine somatotrophin, the growth hormone known as BST, in milk will be held April 19, 7 p.m., in Colonial Hall, Squires Student Center, on the Virginia Tech campus.

Consumers have voiced concerns about the use of BST, which is used to increase milk yields.

Written questions for the panel will be accepted during the program, which is sponsored by Alpha Zeta, the agricultural honor fraternity.
