RECEPTION SET FOR HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS

An informal reception for Holocaust survivors John and Marta Marek will be held in the resource room of the Montgomery County School Board Office on Friday, from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.

The Mareks, who recently moved to Montgomery County from Long Island, survived the infamous Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz, Poland, during World War II. The native Czechoslovakians moved to the United States in the late 1940s.

The reception is open to teachers, students and their parents of the Montgomery County school system. For more information, call the Programs for the Gifted office at 382-5190.
