GROUPS GIVE MEDICAL TAPES TO RESCUE SQUADS

The Kiwanis Club of Roanoke Valley and Cave Spring Junior High School's Builders Club are donating a supply of Broselow Pediatric Emergency Tapes to Cave Spring area rescue squads for use in emergency ambulances.

The tapes, designed to eliminate guess work in treating pediatric patients, have color-coded zones on one side for selecting equipment based on the patient's length. The other side indicates medication dosages based on the patient's length and weight.
