FUN BUNCH: Music, comedy and juggling will come to Virginia Tech in Blacksburg on Thursday night at 7:30 when the Flying Karamazov Brothers entertain in Burruss Auditorium.

They're among the most prominent purveyors of what is known as the New Vaudeville. Tickets are $14 for the public and $7 for children under 12. Call 231-5615 or (800) 843-0332.

GOOD HANDS: He's a singer, he's a harpist and he plays everything from Bach to Brubeck, New Age to Country. He's Harvi Griffin, and he's coming to Whitman Auditorium at Virginia Western Community College on Thursday night at 8.

Griffin has performed more than 1,000 concerts around the world, including several at the White House. Brass 5 will open the show. Tickets are $7 and are on sale at the VWCC bookstore. Call 857-7334 to charge them by phone.

WESTERN DANCE: Aaron Copland's ``Rodeo'' provides the musical backdrop to Agnes de Mille's ballet ``RODEO: the Courting at Burnt Ranch.'' It will be presented Thursday night at 7:30 at the Martinsville High School auditorium, under the auspices of the Piedmont Arts Association. The Richmond Ballet will perform.

``Ancient Airs and Dances'' and ``Tandem Spaces'' also will be spotlit. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and students in high school and below. Call 632-3221.

TODAY'S GOSPEL: D.C. Talk, a well-known group in the contemporary gospel field, will present a concert Thursday night at 7:30 at the Vines Center of Liberty University in Lynchburg. Tickets are $14.50 in advance and $16.50 at the door. Call TicketMaster or call (804) 582-2131for information.

Clay Crosse, who had a hit with ``I Surrender All,'' will sing Wednesday night in room 100 of McBryde Hall at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Show time is 7:30 and admission is $5. Call 231-5615.

MULTIFACETED: Drumming, song, dance, storytelling and lavish costumes make Kagaya of Africa an exciting act to see. They'll put on a multidisciplinary performance Saturday night at 7:30 at the Charlottesville Performing Arts Center

IT'S A WINNER: ``Applause,'' Broadway's Best Musical of 1970, comes to Showtimers of Roanoke for performances tonight through Sunday and Thursday through April 24 at their studio on McVitty Road. Jeff Berger directs the story of Margo Channing, an aging star who fights for her professional life against Eve Harrington, a conniving young starlet.

SHE REMEMBERS MAMA: Julie Portman and Paul Reisler, who constitute the Ki Theatre, will present a one-act play with music called ``Katie Malone.'' That's Thursday night at 8 in Olin Theater at Roanoke College in Salem.

Portman is a theater artist, and Reisler is with the music group Trapezoid.

SIZZLING ROMANTIC DRAMA: ``Burn This,'' an explosive love story by Lanford Wilson, will be presented by Live Arts in Charlottesville tonight through Sunday and Wednesday through April 23 at 8 each night. Tickets are $7 for the public. Call (804) 293-7959.

NOTED: The parish choir of Christ Episcopal Church in Roanoke will present Britten's ``Rejoice in the Lamb'' and Haydn's ``Little Organ Mass'' on Sunday evening at 5 at the church.

The Audubon Quartet will present this season's final concert of their Beethoven cycle Saturday night at 8 and Sunday afternoon at 3 at the Squires Recital Salon of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Admission is $7 for the public, $5 for students and senior citizens. Call 231-5615.

The Lynchburg Symphony and the Jefferson Choral Society will perform Brahms' ``A German Requiem'' on Sunday afternoon at 3 in the E.C. Glass auditorium in Lynchburg.
