RADFORD, UVA PLAY TUESDAY

Radford University and the University of Virginia will play a college baseball game in Pulaski's Calfee Park on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

This will be the third straight year Radford has played a game under the lights in Calfee. In 1992, Radford defeated 15th-ranked North Carolina State 7-5 in Pulaski and a year later split a doubleheader with arch-rival Liberty that assured the Highlanders of a spot in the Big South Conference tournament.

Radford (18-14), coached by Scott Gines, is in first place in the Big South, which will send its regular-season champion to the NCAA baseball tournament. Virginia (14-20) is coached by Dennis Womack.
