`DIG FOR DIAMOND' EVENT TODAY

WVVV 105-FM and Henebry's Jewelers are sponsoring a "Dig for a Diamond" event on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the New River Valley Mall. With a donation of 105 ounces of food, that's seven 16-ounce cans, a person will have an opportunity to dig in a sandbox for a 1/4 carat diamond.

New River Community Action will receive all the food which helps feed people in the New River Valley who need it.
