LIBRARIES SCHEDULE OPEN HOUSE, SALE

In observance of National Library Week, the "Friends of the Library" will hold an open house at the Blue Ridge Library on U.S. 460 East today from 2 to 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

The sixth annual Book & Bake Sale at the Forest branch of the Bedford County Library in the Forest Square Center on U.S. 221 will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Activities will include a children's chalk art contest. Coffee, doughnuts and pizza will be served.
