CHILDRESS NOTCHES 300 GAME AT ALL-STAR

Tim Childress of Roanoke bowled his fourth perfect game in two years Monday night, hitting a 300 at All-Star Lanes on the last night of the regular season in the N&W League.

Childress, who averages 200 for Roanoke Car Shop, sandwiched the 300 between games of 259 and 236 for a 795 series. His previous three perfect games came in 1993 at Hilltop Lanes.
