MOTORCYCLE CRASH KILLS ROANOKER

A Southwest Roanoke man died early Friday after his motorcycle struck a bridge support in the 1700 block of Franklin Road Southwest.

William Walter Bonney, 22, was traveling south about 12:30 a.m. when he lost control, went across the northbound lane, and crashed, police said.

He was riding alone at the time of the accident, police said.
