"ART-A-THON" SET AT COVERED BRIDGE

Artists from around the region will participate in an "Art-a-Thon" Saturday at the covered bridge in Newport. The artists are gathering to do paintings of the bridge while the tulips are in bloom. Spectators are invited to watch the artists at work from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Following the "Art-a-Thon," there will be a free dinner for everyone at the Newport School. For more information, call Kit Keller at the Newport Emporium, 544-7834.
