In the girls' meet, Monica Lucas won long jump, the triple jump, the 100 meters, the 200 meters and was on the winning 4-x-100-meter relay team as Floyd County beat Rockbridge County 108-56.
Rockbridge County's Jennifer Vest set the school record in the 300 hurdles (46 seconds).
\ BASEBALL: Dwight Orange went 2-for-5 with two RBI as Staunton River (5-5, 5-5) edged Amherst County 9-8 in a Seminole District game in Moneta. The Golden Eagles scored the go-ahead run in the eighth inning.
In Tazewell, Eric Motley went2-for-3 and pitched the Bulldogs (8-0) to a 12-2 non-district win over Giles (5-5).
In Bedford, Appomattox (5-5, 5-5) scored five unearned runs in the third inning on two Liberty errors, and allowed the Minutemen (2-8, 2-8) only two hits en route to a 10-3 Seminole District win.
\ BOYS' SOCCER: At Christiansburg, Chris Lisanti and Brent Cunningham scored as the Blue Demons (6-3, 1-1) beat Radford 2-0 in a New River District game. The Bobcats are 7-2 and 0-2.
Andrew Bailey, Lee Updike and Brady Warr each scored as Salem (5-3) defeated visiting Northside 3-0.
