IN SCHOOL

KAYE LINDA CLAYTOR, who is completing requirements for a doctorate in educational psychology at Indiana University, is a lecturer in the university's school of nursing in Indianapolis.

Claytor, daughter of Dr. Walter and Kim Claytor of Roanoke, also recently helped the nursing school win a national awrd for successful retention of minority students. Last fall, she also had an article published in the Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing, a national publication.

Claytor is a graducate of Roanoke Catholic High School and an honors graduate of the nursing undergraduate program of Mary Washington College and the University of Virginia. She earned a master's in nursing from Catholic University in 1981.

\ LONGWOOD COLLEGE has named several Roanoke Valley residents to its fall semester dean's list. They are: Kimberly A. Boucher, Carrie D. Brown, Sarah E. Moore, Douglas L. Poff, all of Roanoke; Sherry L. Wright of Salem; Elizabeth A. Beckner of Vinton; and Deana B. Pinion of Troutville.
