NABA to begin second Roanoke season May 1

The National Adult Baseball Association is recruiting players for its second Roanoke season, which begins Sunday.

The league consists of 12 teams competing in two age groups - 18 and over and 30 and over. Each team will have a chance to play 18 games.

There will be an All-Star game scheduled for the middle of the season and a post-season playoff for each league. A state tournament will be held in Virginia Beach during Memorial Day weekend, and a national world series will be held in early October.

For more information, call Randall Holley at 343-1255.
