OPERA ROANOKE SCHEDULES 3 PERFORMANCES

Opera Roanoke has announced its 1994-95 season. Included on the roster are Verdi's ``Rigoletto,'' Menotti's ``Amahl and the Night Visitors,'' and the world premiere of ``Travels'' by the company's artistic director Victoria Bond.

``Rigoletto'' will be performed in Italian with English supertitles at Roanoke' Mill Mountain Theatre on Sept. 24, 26, 28 and 30. ``Amahl'' will play in the sanctuary of Greene Memorial United Methodist Church in Roanoke on Dec. 2 and 3. And the season closes with ``Travels'' in Roanoke College's Olin Theater on May 18, 20 and 22. ``Amahl'' and ``Travels'' will be performed in English.

Season ticket prices are $43-$48 for adults and $41-$45 for senior citizens. Single tickets also will be available to each performance. Call 982-2742 for ordering information.
