RAIN DELAYS COSMO

Rain washed out the first day of the Cosmopolitan Club boys' and girls' track meet Friday at Salem and Glenvar high schools.

In the revised schedule, trials will be held this morning at Salem High School in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, the girls' 100-meter hurdles and the boys' 110-meter hurdles.

Finals for the field events will begin at 9 a.m., with the finals of running events scheduled to get under way around 11:30 a.m. at Salem. The middle-school portion of the meet will be held today at Glenvar High School.
