Mayors proclaim Secretaries Week

Collision Plus earns good ratings
CHRISTIANSBURG - Kenny Jennelle's Collision Plus participates in the DuPont Assurance of Quality Program and has received higher individual ratings on body shop services than the national average for more than a year. Responses on customer satisfaction are evaluated at the DuPont Program Headquarters, compared to all collision repair facilities and measured against a national average.

Volvo GM to host antique truck show
DUBLIN - Volvo GM Heavy Truck's corporate headquarters in Greensboro is hosting the fourth annual Antique Truck Show on May 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The show will feature more than 50 antique trucks, a number of state-of-the-art 1994 GMC trucks, tours of the Volvo GM technical center and historical displays from component manufacturing companies.
The show, a joint effort of Volvo GM Heavy Truck and the Piedmont Carolina Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society, is free. Anyone interested in displaying an antique truck must call 704-636-5384 before May 7.
NRCC students get training
DUBLIN - All Seasons Lawn Care Equipment of Christiansburg, Hot Chilies of Radford, Koli's Mexibilly Salsa of Pulaski and New River Community College are participating in a promotions class at the college by having students work at their businesses, giving them a chance to apply their knowledge and learn from a business environment.

Chamber to publish Who's Who
CHRISTIANSBURG - The Christiansburg-Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is producing the 1994 edition of "Who's Who in Business in Christiansburg and Montgomery County." All chamber members will receive a complimentary copy, and businesses that advertise will receive a number of copies depending on the size of the ad.
Ads are $125 per quarter page to $225 per full page for chamber members. An additional fee of $125 is charged to non-members.
