HOUSING CONFERENCE IS MONDAY

A housing conference for the 9th Congressional District will be held Monday at the Hemlock Haven Conference Center in Hungry Mother State Park near Marion.

It is sponsored by Rep. Rick Boucher, D-Abingdon, with the support of the Virginia Housing Development Authority and Little Ten Housing Authorities of Southwest Virginia.

Registration is at 8:30 a.m., with programs and panels running from 9 a.m. to about 3 p.m. The keynote address, opening the program, will be given by Mary Ann E.G. Wilson, director of the Virginia office of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
