CHILD CPR SEMINARS OFFERED

Radford Community Hospital is sponsoring a series of free infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation seminars during May. The three-hour educational sessions cover infant and child safety, CPR and the Hiemlich Maneuver for foreign body airway obstruction. The classes follow American Heart Association standards and are recommended for parents, babysitters, day care personnel and anyone else who has frequent contact with infants and children.

The seminars will take place in Radford on May 4 and 5; Christiansburg on May 10 and 11; Hillsville on May 18 and 19; and Floyd on May 25 and 26. Registration is required and space is limited.
