The program will be held in the 14,000-square-foot center above the school's athletic field, even though all the work on the building is not yet complete. The next phase of the project includes electrical and plumbing work and carpeting.
Tickets are $10. People will be admitted starting about 5:30 p.m. They can buy tickets in advance at the school or when they go through the food line.
Food is to be prepared by Pulaski County Administrator Joe Morgan. The school is preparing for 500 to 600 people.
Allen's address will be start about 7:30 or 8 p.m.
The entire project is being funded through contributions of money, labor and supplies. Work completed so far has cost about $200,000, and the next phase is estimated at $75,000. The center is named in memory of a woman who coached sports at the school.
