Because of incorrect information supplied to the newspaper, those in need of bone marrow transplants were incorrectly described in a story Thursday. The Marrow Donor Center of the Virginias will match healthy donors with people who need bone marrow transplants because they suffer from leukemia and other life-threatening blood disorders. The center will also provide information, advice and other services to bone marrow recipients.
