FESTIVAL FEATURES COUNTRY DANCING|

Valley Country in Roanoke will host the first Southwest Virginia Country Western Dance Festival and Workshop on May 13-15.

Country dance champions Darlene Long, Kal R. Branson and David N. Baggett will lead classes in the two-step, west and east coast swing, the polka, cha-cha and waltz for beginner through advanced dancers.

The fee for the weekend, which includes 44 hours of classes to choose from, a Friday night party, continental breakfasts and a Saturday night bar-b-que dinner and exhibition by the champion dancers is $58.
