JOHN BOBBITT ARRESTED; FIANCEE ALLEGES ASSAULT

John Bobbitt was arrested after his fiancee accused him Friday of yanking her arm and shoving her against a wall in their apartment.

A police report said the two were involved ``in a verbal argument before Bobbitt grabbed her right forearm, causing a bruise, then shoved her into a wall, causing a bruise.''

He appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or another substance, the report said. Kristina Elliot, 21, didn't require medical treatment, said Aaron Gordon, a spokesman for the couple.
