New River Community Action will hold an election Wednesday to choose the Radford target area representative to its Board of Directors. Voting will take place at Grove United Methodist Church on Tyler Avenue from noon until 1 p.m., and at Radford Public Library on First Street from 1:15 until 2:15 p.m.

Roy Claytor has been nominated. Other nominations and write-in candidates are welcome.

All Radford residents over 18 years old and in families whose income falls within federal poverty income guidelines to receive services is eligible to vote or nominate.
