NRCC CLUB SPONSORS JAMBOREE AT FAIRGROUNDS

The New River Community College Fiddle, Banjo and Dance Club will have a jamboree today at the New River Valley Fairgrounds. Performing are The Dry Hill DRaggers, Skeeter and the Skidmarks and The Shiloh Mountain Boys.

The jamboree gets underway with jam sessions at 5 p.m. Live entertainment runs from 7 to 10 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners of a dance contest.

Admission is free but donations are taken to help pay traveling expenses for the bands.
