PIONEER FESTIVAL TO FEATURE 2 WEDDINGS

Two couples will be married Saturday in the midst of Revolutionary War re-enactments, old-time music and crafts during Tazewell's Pioneer Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Historic Crab Orchard Museum and Pioneer Park.

The weddings are part of the observance of Virginia Heritage Weeks and the 25th anniversary of the state's ``Virginia is for Lovers'' tourism advertising slogan. The participants were chosen from among those expressing interest in having their wedding in a historic setting.

Jane Sifford and Virgil Miller of Bluefield, in traditional frontier garb, will be married at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Don Scott, district superintendent of the United Methodist Church.

The second wedding at 3 p.m. will unite Michelle Rife of Richlands and Michael Greear of Clintwood, with the Rev. Rick Blevins of Richlands performing the ceremony.

Both couples will leave by horse-drawn carriage for their receptions. Further information is available by calling the museum at (703)988-6755.
