WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR ROANOKE CITY ART SHOW

``Self-Portrait Suspended Above a Bench,'' a wood sculpture by Roanoke artist Anne Bondurant Trinkle, was voted the People's Choice in the 1994 Roanoke City Art Show, which was on display at the Art Museum of Western Virginia this spring.

Trinkle's sculpture features a barreled-shaped torso suspended over a bench.

She will receive a $100 cash prize sponsored by the city of Roanoke.

Roanoke City Art Show juror Susan Lubowsky awarded Best in Show to the works of Tracy Mossman and Suzanne Stryk.

Awards of Excellence went to the works of James Knipe, Susan Spitz, Bob Sulkin, Susan Talbot-Elliot and Trinkle.
