JAGUARS ADVANCE 4 TEAMS TO STATE GAMES

The Roanoke Valley Basketball Association's Roanoke Jaguars advanced four teams to the state AAU championship by finishing in the top three at the regional competitions.

At the regional tournament held in Staunton, the Jaguars' 11-and-under team placed third and the 12-and-under team finished as runners-up. The 13-and-under team placed third at the Salem tournament, and the 15-and-under Jaguars finished as runners-up in the Martinsville tournament.
