SORORITY IS RECOGNIZED AT STATE CONVENTION

The Delta Kappa Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority was recently named Most Outstanding Chapter in Virginia.

The chapter also won the second place Shelby Hodges First Pearl Trophy for increased membership.

Other awards were earned by: Juanita B. Leasure, second place Philanthropic Community Service Hours Award and second place Dot Harcus State Project-Camp Fantastic Award; Carolyn Harrison Zimmerman and the chapter, Gold Link Award for excellence in education; Elaine Prillaman and Kathy Wilson, Division I second place for the group's scrapbook; Carol Campbell, second place Sandy Reedy Publicity Award; Barbara Thomas, St. Jude Distinguished Service Honorarium for outstanding support of St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Campbell was also voted Woman of the Year by her chapter.
