The Third Annual Wilderness Road Bicycle Ride is purely a social and recreational event.
It offers 20 course options, starting between 7 and 9 a.m. The shorter rides go over rolling terrain, while the 70-mile course is hilly and challenging.
Entry fee is $10 until May 21 and $12 thereafter. The ride starts and ends at the Montgomery Museum & Lewis Miller Regional Art Center on Pepper Street in Christiansburg.
Registration forms are available at the Blacksburg, Christiansburg and Radford chambers of commerce.
The ride has attracted people from as far away as Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
Club officials expect more interest this year, generated by the Tour DuPont.
