AWARDS HISTORY

EVERETT MILLER of Lucy Addison High School won the inaugural B'nai B'rith award in 1951. A dual award for girls and boys was started in 1976; Northside's Kim Miley was the first female winner. Selection, made by a panel of judges, is based 50 percent on athletic achievement, 25 percent on scholastic record and 25 percent on citizenship, including outside activities.
