HOKIES EARN METRO WIN

Bo Durkac drove in two runs to lead sixth-seeded Southern Mississippi on Thursday at the Metro Conference baseball tournament in Louisville, Ky.

The Hokies, who upset third-seeded South Florida on Wednesday, continue in the winner's bracket and will face top-seeded North Carolina-Charlotte at 7:30 p.m. today. Tech's starting pitcher will be Rob Gibson of Salem .
