DOUBLE IN 7TH TRIPS BUCS

Billy Selby's two-out double off Sean Evans drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh as the Lynchburg Red Sox beat the Salem Buccaneers 4-3 on Thursday night in a Carolina League baseball game at City Stadium.

The score was tied at 3 when John Stratton opened the inning with a double. Pat Murphy was summoned to run for him. Bob Juday followed with a come-backer to the mound and pitcher Jason Abramavicius, who had started the inning, fired to second to nail Murphy.
