ROANOKE POLICE ACCREDITATION HEARING SET

A public hearing on the Roanoke Police Department will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the City Council chambers of the Municipal Building on Church Avenue Southwest.

The meeting is part of the accreditation process for the department. An assessment team from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. will be present. The process requires agencies to comply with standards in policy and procedures, administration, operations and support services.
