TECH GAMES ON THE RADIO

Virginia Tech's games in the NCAA East Regional baseball tournament will be broadcast on radio stations in the Roanoke and New River valleys, with Hokies' voice Bill Roth handling play-by-play.

WSLC (610 AM) and WJJJ (1260 AM) are scheduled to air the Hokies' first three games in the regional from Clemson's Tiger Field, starting Thursday at 2:45 p.m. against Auburn. Tech's second game will be played at 10:45 a.m. or 7:15 p.m. Friday, depending on the Tech-Auburn result.

If Tech plays a third game in the double-elimination event, it will be aired Saturday by both stations, at a time to be determined. If the Hokies play Sunday in the championship game, the game will air only on WJJJ in the New River Valley. WSLC is committed to the Coca-Cola 600 broadcast from Charlotte Motor Speedway.
