Barker, who has been widowed since 1981, said he was involved with Dian Parkinson for about 18 months, from 1989 to 1991.
Barker and ``The Price is Right'' producer Jonathan Goodson said they were going public about the affair because Parkinson threatened to sue Barker and the show unless she was paid $8 million.
Parkinson, who worked for the show for 18 years, quit in 1993. She said she left because of tension between herself and other models, Goodson said.
Before she quit, Parkinson posed nude for two Playboy magazine pictorials, in December 1991 and May 1993.
