In Blacksburg, Mark Decker and Gregg Adamo scored two goals to pace a typical balanced offensive attack as the Indians whipped fellow New River District member Radford 6-0 in the finals of the Region IV soccer tournament.
Blacksburg (15-0-2), which will make its sixth straight state tournament appearance by hosting Martinsville in the Group AA quarterfinals next Tuesday, got goals from Jason Boyle and Kurt Williams in beating Radford (13-6) for the fourth time this season.

Billy Arthur pitched a four-hitter and struck out 10 batters to lead Lord Botetourt to a 4-2 win over Salem in the championship game of the Blue Ridge District baseball tournament at Alleghany High School.
Arthur (6-4) allowed just five baserunners, as the Cavaliers capped a surprising tournament that featured their shocking 10-0 win over previously unbeaten William Byrd in Wednesday's semifinals.
Brian Davis had three hits and Shannon Williams delivered a two-run home run in the fourth inning for Lord Botetourt (11-8-1), which plays Brookville in a Region III game Monday at 7 p.m. at Martinsville's Hooker Field. Brian Crosswhite had three of the Spartans' four hits, including a homer.
Earlier, Salem (12-7-1) advanced to the final by coming from behind to beat Alleghany 7-6 in a game that was continued from Thursday with the Mountaineers leading 2-0 in the second inning. Kevin Feazell's two-run double broke a 5-5 tie in the fifth and put the Spartans ahead to stay.
Alleghany (13-6) got two hits from David Dixon, Scott Carper and Shawn Ward.
Regular-season champion William Byrd opens Region III play Monday against Magna Vista at Hooker Field at 5 p.m.
Billy Martin drove home Bucky Burton with a two-out double in the bottom of the 11th inning to break up a pitchers' duel and give Giles a 2-1 win over Narrows District baseball tournament at Pulaski's Calfee Park.
Both pitchers - Mitch Reed for Giles and Jeff White for Narrows - went the distance for their teams. Reed (8-1) tossed a four-hitter and struck out 13.
Narrows (12-5) scored its run in the top of the seventh when Whitey Blankenship singled, advanced to second on an error, stole third and came home on a wild pitch. Giles (13-6) tied it in the bottom of the inning on a two-out single from Marty Smith that scored Martin, who had doubled and advanced to third by tagging up on a flyball.
It was not one of Jason Anderson's better outings, yet Glenvar's star left-hander persevered despite allowing 11 walks and hurling seven wild pitches in a 10-6 victory over host Covington in the Pioneer District baseball tournament final.
Anderson (8-1), who struck out 11, was staked to leads of 6-0 and 10-3. Eric East had three hits to pace a 13-hit attack for Glenvar (17-2-1) which plays Lebanon in a Region C tournament game Tuesday at Covington.
Covington (14-5-1), which plays the Mountain Empire's runner-up on Tuesday at home in Region C action, got two hits from Jeff Tucker and Jessie Snyder.
Tunstall (21-0) scored 11 runs in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back in beating Magna Vista 15-7 in the finals of the Piedmont District baseball tournament at Martinsville's Hooker Field. The Trojans will play the Lord Botetourt-Brookville winner in the Region III semifinals Wednesday at 7 p.m. Magna Vista (11-4) plays William Byrd in a Region III game Monday at 5 p.m. at Hooker Field.
At Glenvar, Amy Layman (9-4) picked up two wins to lead the Highlanders to the Pioneer District softball tournament championship. Layman tossed a one-hitter and struck out 10 to beat Parry McCluer 13-1 in the semifinals, then scattered five hits to beat James River 7-1 in the finals.
Amy Donikowski had two doubles and three RBI in the semifinals. Kelly Winter was 3-for-4 with two RBI in the final.
Glenvar and James River travel to Castlewood on Tuesday for the first round of the Region C tournament.
