The Katherine Nelson Fishburn Charitable Foundation of Roanoke made gifts and grants totaling $20,000 to area organizations during its 1992 fiscal year. Another $17,500 was donated on the Fishburn Foundation's behalf by the Foundation for Roanoke Valley from money that it manages for the Fishburn Foundation. A chart in the May 22 Business section, which indicated that the Fishburn Foundation made grants and gifts of $378,460, included $358,460 that the Fishburn Foundation transferred to the Foundation for Roanoke Valley.
