PROFESSOR'S SCULPTURES ARE ON DISPLAY

Radford University art professor Charlie Brouwer has two sculptures in the Museum of the Americas' exhibit, ``Across Borders.''

``Tribute to the Ladder Carriers'' and ``To Each Exile Comes a Season of Returning'' are included in this exhibit, which seeks to cross nationalistic borders that separate the Americas. Brouwer says of his pieces: ``One of my sculptures for this show pays tribute to those who seek to transcend a spiritually flattened world and the other deals with the desire to return `home.'''

The exhibit runs through July 2 at 201 18th St. N.W., Washington, D.C.
