ROANOKE VALLEY ALUMNI CHAPTER FORMED

Bluefield College has established a Roanoke Valley alumni chapter and elected Woody Deans, head basketball coach at Patrick Henry High School, as its president.

Linda McCallum of Vinton was chosen vice president at the group's first meeting May 21, and Stephen Stilwell, financial planner in the Roanoke area, was elected secretary-treasurer.

The three were recognized along with Lloyd Gochenour, Shirley Meador and Joe Blackstock for their volunteer work on behalf of the college's 75th anniversary fund-raising campaign with a goal of $7.5 million by 1997. Blackstock is chairman of the Roanoke Valley campaign group.
