Carson Graham Burkett, age 3, proudly announces the birth of his sister, Mackenzie Elizabeth, on April 1, 1994 at 4:01 am at Lewis-Gale Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs. 8 ozs. and was 20 1/2 inches long. The proud parents are Annette and Tyler Burkett of Roanoke. Grandparents are Nancy and Fred Graham of Christiansburg, Va. and Peggy and Karl Burkett of Las Vegas, Nev. Dr. Carl Harms was the attending physician. "Praise God for both of our precious blessings."

Christina Elizabeth Elliott, weighing 6 lbs. 2 1/4 oz., 19 1/2 inches, was born May 7, 1994 at 2:46 p.m. at Community Hospital. Her parents are Rick and Sandra Elliott. Her grandparents are Clifford and Jewell Boyd of Ararat, Va., Richard and Rosa Elliott of Mt. Airy, N.C. Great-grandmother is Zula Payne of Mt. Airy, N.C.
