Kimberly Ann Giantonio and John Robert Alexander were united in marriage on June 4, 1994, at Windsor Hills United Methodist Church. The officiating minister was Rev. D. Michael Meloy. Kim was given in marriage by her father.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Pamela F. Jones and Mr. Paul J. Giantonio of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Northside High School and James Madison University. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in physical therapy at the Medical College of Virginia.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter G. Alexander of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and Roanoke College. He is presently employed by First Union National Bank.
The maid of honor was Patricia Yeager and the bridesmaids were Karen Alexander, sister of the groom; Ann Alexander, sister of the groom; Ann Atchley; Jennifer Absher; Kristen Head; Lisa Seagrave and Denese Wilkins. The flowergirl was Maegan Suttles.
The best man was Richard Alexander, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Kurt Giantonio, brother of the bride; Walter Alexander, brother of the groom; Wayne Webb; Thomas Brighton; John Gray; Daniel Coleman and Kendall Wheeler. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Carolyn S. Barger and Mr. H. Randell Barger. She is a 1985 graduate of Northside High School and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Roanoke College in 1989. She is employed as the Office and Human Resource Manager for Multimedia Design Corporation in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Blugerman of Falmouth, Maine. He graduated from Loretto in Kansas City in 1984 and is a 1989 graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts where he received his Bachelor of Science in Economics, cum laude. He is employed as the Controller for Multimedia Design Corporation in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The bride was attended by her Matron of Honor, Mrs. Lorrie Herman of Fairfax, Virginia, friend of the bride, and Mrs. Beth Karnofsky of Bar Harbor, Maine, sister of the groom. Best man was Mr. Andrew Mensch of Syossett, New York, friend of the groom. Ushers were Mr. Brian Barger of Charlotte, North Carolina, brother of the bride, and Mr. Munsey Wheby Jr. of Vienna, Virginia, cousin of the bride. The couple will make their home in Charlotte, North Carolina after a trip to Jamaica.

Lisa received her B.A. degree from Hollins College and MBA from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. She is Assistant Director of Development of Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters in Norfolk.
Randall received his B.A. and M.A. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He is a newsman with the Associated Press in Raleigh, N.C.
The couple will live in Raleigh, N.C. after July 1.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald E. Williams of Roanoke. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Wright of Atlanta, Ga. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard E. Williams of Roanoke.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Patricia Slusher Stump of Charlotte, N.C. and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James M. Slusher of Roanoke.
Ashley was escorted to the alter by her father and given in marriage by him and her mother. The bride's gown designed by her and fashioned by Kathy Pugh was of Duchess silk satin with hand beaded alencon lace on bodice and tulip sleeves. The full skirt extended into a chapel length train.
The bride's sister, Alicia Hodges was her matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Pamela Armentrout and Nichole Legard, Roanoke, Sherry Patterson and Shayland Poole, High Point, N.C., Nicole Bonnett, Mendam, N.J., Meghan Healy, LaPlatta, Md., Julie Wilson and Stephanie Gray, Atlanta, Ga., and Joanna Kaney, Ormond Beach, Fla. Flowergirl was Brittiany Mullmann, Roanoke.
The groom's stepfather, James S. Stump Jr. served as best man. His groomsmen were Randall Z. Hodges, Moneta, brother-in-law of the bride, James M. Beasley, Roanoke, Robert A. Music for the ceremony was performed by Janice Humphreys, organist, and the soloist was Harold Woody. Music for the reception was performed by Reflections. The wedding director was Vaunda Leftwich. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents entertained with a reception at the Sheraton Inn Roanoke Airport.
Ashley is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and High Point University. She is the assistant manager of Enterprise Rent-a-Car in Roanoke. James is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and Hampden-Sydney College. He is a sales and marketing representative for the Eureka Company.
Following a wedding trip to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Roanoke.
