Former Virginia Tech linebacker Jock Jones, who played the past two seasons for the Arizona Cardinals, and wide receiver David Daniels signed one-year contracts with the Philadelphia Eagles. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Jones, 26, had 21 tackles and one sack in 46 games with the Cardinals. The fifth-year pro was drafted by Cleveland in the eighth round, playing 20 games for the Browns in 1990 and 1991.
